Grown up in Belgium, England, Germany. Abitur in Hamburg. Studied fine arts at Muthesius Hochschule in Kiel, Hochschule der Künste in Berlin and Liverpool John Moores University. Freie Kunst Diplom 1998.
Chantal Labinski lives and works mainly in Berlin Germany. Her work often focusses on public intervention, planting nonfunctional add ons into urban spaces. Other work modes include collage, drawing and sign painting. Numerous exhibitions, kunst-am-bau cooperations and show participations.
